O\u00eda auf Santor\u00edni: Die H\u00e4user wurden zum Teil wie H\u00f6hlen gebaut<\/p><\/div>\n

Santor\u00edni ist anders: Durch einen Vulkanausbruch ca. 1600 v.Chr. hat die Insel eine ganz eigene Form erhalten. Sie wurden auseinandergerissen, auf einer kleinen Insel in der Mittel ist der Vulkan noch aktiv. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besser gesagt ist es nur die Spitze des Vulkans, der unter der Wasseroberfl\u00e4che vorhanden ist. Auf Santorini selbst ist eine Seite der Insel deshalb eine Kraterwand, an der die H\u00e4user auf eindr\u00fcckliche Weise in die Wand gebaut wurden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wer an diesen Stellen zum Meer gelangen m\u00f6chte, muss Hunderte von Treppenstufen hinuntersteigen, vorbei an vielen verwinkelten, weissen H\u00e4usern. Nun, Santor\u00edni ist ein exklusives Pflaster und Hotelg\u00e4ste in den touristischen Zentren Fira und Oia m\u00fcssen ihre Koffer selten selber runter- und hochkarren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wir haben die Ausgrabungen von Akrot\u00edri besucht und durch eine private F\u00fchrung viel Wissenswertes gelernt. Die Stadt wurde beim Vulkanausbruch versch\u00fcttet und wird auch als \u00abPompeij der \u00c4g\u00e4is\u00bb bezeichnet. Die Ausgrabungen brachen eine offensichtlich wohlhabende Seefahrer- und Handelsstadt hervor, die auf eine Zeit vor 3500 Jahren hinweist!<\/span><\/p>\n

Santor\u00edni hat \u00fcbrigens zwei Namen. Die Einheimischen nennen ihre Insel Th\u00edra. Santor\u00edni ist der Name, den die Venezianer, die die Insel im 13. Jahrhundert eroberten, der Insel gaben.<\/span><\/p>\n

Santor\u00edni ist eindr\u00fccklich und speziell, aber auch touristisch. T\u00e4glich legen die Kreuzfahrtschiffe hier an und Tausende von Besuchern werden einige Stunden lang in Bussen durch die Insel geschleust. Santor\u00edni ist eine Insel, die interessant ist zu besuchen. P\u00e1ros und N\u00e1xos sind Inseln, auf die man gerne zur\u00fcckkehrt.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
