Das Matterhorn: der bekannteste Spitz der Schweiz<\/p><\/div>\n

Es ist wohl eines der am meisten fotografierten Sujets: Das Matterhorn bei Zermatt mit 4478 Metern. Mit vielen anderen Touristen aus aller Welt waren wir eben \u2013 nicht zum ersten Mal \u2013 auf dem Gornergrat<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mit der Zahnradbahn erreichen wir das ganzj\u00e4hrig erschlossene Aussichtsplateau und Hotel auf 3089 Metern. Das Matterhorn zeigt sich einmal mehr, einmal weniger bedeckt von Wolken. Ein D\u00e9j\u00e0-vu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Haben wir nicht schon letztes Mal, beim Besuch vor einigen Jahren, ein Spiel mit Wolken rund um den ber\u00fchmten Spitz erlebt? Wir ersp\u00e4hen die H\u00f6rnlih\u00fctte<\/a>, erbaut 1911, die als Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr die Matterhornbesteigung dient. Zum 150-j\u00e4hrigen Jubil\u00e4um der Erstbesteigung des Matterhorns wird sie zurzeit umgebaut und im Juli 2015 wiederer\u00f6ffnet. Bergsteiger\/-innen werden in der Zwischenzeit in einem Base Camp untergebracht. <\/span><\/p>\n

Wir wenden uns weiteren Highlights auf dem Gornergrat zu. Die Sicht zum Gornergletscher mit der Monte-Rosa-H\u00fctte und der Dufourspitze, h\u00f6chster Punkt der Schweiz mit 4634 Metern,\u00a0 l\u00e4sst uns ebenso gerne verweilen. H\u00fcbsch auch der Blick zum Klein Matterhorn, das mit einer Luftseilbahn erreicht werden kann. Es ist Teil des ganzj\u00e4hrig ge\u00f6ffneten Skigebiets von Zermatt. Uns ist aber weniger nach Skifahren zumute. Wir nutzen den Abschluss unseres Ausflugs f\u00fcr einen kleinen Bummel durch die verkehrsfreien G\u00e4sschen von Zermatt.<\/span><\/p>\n
