Spielt das Wetter mit, ist es toll. Wenn nicht, friert man \u00fcberall, auch im Bett. Wir hatten dieses Jahr Gl\u00fcck und konnten \u00fcber Ostern ein paar traumhafte Tage am Lago Maggiore verbringen. Direkt am See gelegen, empfiehlt es sich, die meisten Wege mit dem Schiff zur\u00fcckzulegen. Liegt das Hotel wie in unserem Fall sogar direkt bei der Schiffstation in Verbania, sticht das Schiff jedes andere Verkehrsmittel aus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">10 Schiffminuten entfernt liegt die Isola Madre, eine der drei zug\u00e4nglichen Inseln, die zusammen mit der Isola Bella und der Isola Pescatore zu den Borrom\u00e4ischen Inseln z\u00e4hlen. Ihr Name geht auf das mail\u00e4ndische Adelshaus Borromeo zur\u00fcck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Isola Bella<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Im 17. Jahrhundert wurde auf der Isola Bella ein barocker Palazzo errichtet. \u00abDas sieht hier drin ja wie in Versailles aus\u00bb, meint ein Besucher. Und das sollte es wohl auch. Prunktvoll gestaltet sind die R\u00e4ume. Die in den ausladenden Betten \u2013 nat\u00fcrlich mit Seesicht \u2014 gen\u00e4chtigten F\u00fcrsten werden wohl nicht gefroren haben, umsorgendes Personal war sicher gen\u00fcgend vorhanden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Ausserordentlich verspielt ist der Garten. Grotten, Einh\u00f6rner, Statuen, Pflanzen, Pfauen (lebendig) verwirren das Auge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00fcr Pflanzenfreunde<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Stichwort Pflanzen. Wer Blumen liebt, kommt in dieser Gegend nicht zu kurz. Neben Isola Bella und Isola Madre befindet sich in Verbania die Villa Taranto mit einem pr\u00e4chtigen botanischen Garten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:17px\">Kostenlos ist es nicht, die Flora zu bestaunen, weder auf den Borrom\u00e4ischen Inseln noch bei der Villa Taranto. Ausnahme bildet die Isola Pescatore, aber hier stehen auch nicht Pflanzen im Vordergrund, sondern Restaurant und L\u00e4den. Sehr klein und sehr h\u00fcbsch, aber zeitweise schwer mit Besucherinnen und Besuchern beladen.
