Wer das Kolsosseum besucht, tut das in der Regel nicht alleine<\/p><\/div>\n

Rom \u2013 nach 30 Jahren erstmal wieder in dieser puslierenden italienischen Stadt, diesmal in Begleitung meiner T\u00f6chter. Die Stadt, die mich als junge Frau gefangen genommen hat, m\u00f6chte ich ihnen zeigen. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Reise unterscheidet sich heute: keine Nachtz\u00fcge verkehren mehr nach Rom, daf\u00fcr gibt es praktisch st\u00fcndlich komfortable Verbindungen \u00fcber Mailand. In drei Stunden f\u00e4hrt der Hochgeschwindigkeitszug von hier nach Rom.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> Innen br\u00f6ckelt die Fassade des Kolosseums<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Das italienische Stadtleben ist schon mal toll, aber das ist es (f\u00fcr mich) in jeder italienischen Stadt. Die Gassen, Bars, Gesch\u00e4fte, Pizzerias … Die Architektur, die H\u00e4user sind in Rom besonders beeindruckend, die Spuren der verschiedenen Epochen. Doch wir st\u00fcrzen uns erstmals auf das antike Rom, genauer das antike Wahrzeichen der Stadt, das Kolosseum. Imposant der Bau von aussen, Entt\u00e4uschung bei den einen drinnen. Da stehen eben die Treppen nicht mehr, die Pracht muss man sich eher vorstellen, daf\u00fcr beeindrucken die Verwinkelungen und G\u00e4nge …<\/span><\/p>\n

Mein pers\u00f6nliches Highlight vor drei Jahrzenhnten war das Forum Romanum, das Zentrum der antiken Metropole. Mit Ehrfurcht habe ich mich in das Leben fr\u00fcher hineinversetzt, mag mich sogar noch an eine ganz bestimmte Szene des Audioguides erinnern. Meine Freude an Geschichte ist hier definitiv zum Tragen gekommen. Nun, das Erlebnis ist nicht wiederholbar. Irgendwie haben sie die Audioguides ausgetauscht, \u00abmeine\u00bb Lieblingsstelle ist nicht mehr dabei. Ja mehr noch, die Audioguides in Rom generell geh\u00f6ren zu den schlechtesten, die ich kenne. Macht nichts, so vielf\u00e4ltig und spannend ist die Stadt, dass die Zeitspanne bis zum n\u00e4chsten Besuch garantiert k\u00fcrzer ist.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
